Scientific reports indicate that the stratum corneum (SC) of Asians is relatively thin, intercellular cohesion is lower than in whites and blacks, the natural moisturizing factor (NMF) is lower, and the barrier function is relatively weak, so it is susceptible to sensitive reactions from exogenous chemical stimulation. Asian skin is also very prone to spots and dullness .
